The hem was folded under so that no raw edge is exposed. The back facing of the waistband extends a good 8” below the waistband itself, which provides extra volume and ensures the stitching won’t pop at the lower edge when stretched. I love that the fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and will therefore retain its color, smooth non-pilled surface, and crisp “hand" much longer than fabric with higher cotton content. The embroidered t-shirts are can double as streetwear and are an amazing deal. I have an embroidery machine, so I knowf how much thread went into producing one t-shirt.
